Accessibility, OER, and You Online
Presented by Librarian Sarah Teichman and Instructional Designer Callie Martin, this workshop is for faculty who might know a little about the Open Educational Resources and/or accessibility, but have not yet explored them extensively. This workshop will include discussion of why OER can be so great for accessibility purposes, explanation of where to start to make OER accessible for your students, and demonstration of some tools you can use to help you stay on track, whether you are adapting existing OER or creating your own. This workshop will be virtual, and registration is required. To ensure you get the most out of the workshop, please have an OER learning object (a slide deck, a syllabus, etc.) for which you have editing permissions ready for a hands-on application!
